Layer Cake
Eye Am King - Tangled Vines by Dast Ta Fame
Full brother, Out Post, sold for $400,000 at NMBY Sale 2025!
Layer Cake, a New Mexico-bred daughter of Eye Am King out of Tangled Vines by Dash Ta Fame, built a race record that reflected both her talent and the strength of the family behind her. A multiple winner with more than $153,000 in earnings, she also earned black-type distinction with a third-place finish in the New Mexico State Fair Futurity (RG2). From a female line that has already produced notable runners, including Pick Your Pour SI 105, Layer Cake represents the kind of quality pedigree and proven performance that make an exciting broodmare prospect. Campaigned by Triple R Racing Stables LLC, along with Denis and Julie Schoenhofer, Kim Middleton, and Wallace L. Landrum, and trained by James J. Gonzales III, she now enters the next chapter of her career as a broodmare, where Rivera Farms looks forward to her continued legacy in the breeding barn and the promise of what she will produce for years to come.
